Police have arrested two doctors for making and selling fake Covid-19 vaccination documents today, reports the State Security Service of Georgia (SSS).
The SSS reports that one out of the arrested individuals is the Director of the Family Medicine Centre No. 4, while another individual is a doctor of the same centre.
Police found that the doctors made and sold fake Pfizer immunisation documents. Then they illegally registered the fake documents on the official website of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)”, the SSS says.
The SSS also noted that the doctors committed similar crimes in the past several times.
The crime is punishable by three to six years in prison.
Georgian law enforcers have detained one individual for making and selling fake, negative PCR test certificates.
The State Regulation Agency of Medical Activities has found an illegal Covid-testing laboratory on Agmashenebeli Avenue in Tbilisi.
