Georgia has reported 5,206 new cases of coronavirus, 4,648 recoveries and 53 deaths in the past 24 hours.
48,615 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 32,423 of the 48,615 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,192 were PCR tests.

- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 378
- Kakheti – 530
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 118
- Samtskhe-Javakheti – 157
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 36
6,648 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,640 of 6648 patients are in critical condition.
41,812 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.
37,137individuals are in self-isolation.
The coordination council is reviewing the COVID-19 ‘green passport’ package, proposed by the Georgian National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in late October, and working to specify the date of its activation, Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia announced earlier today.
Georgia has reported 6,024 new cases of coronavirus, 3,818 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate has gone up to 9.13% in the past 14 days as of November 3.

“About 15,000 doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine have expired in Georgia”, Head of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze said earlier today.
Georgian health officials say that additional coronavirus-related restrictions will not be imposed in Georgia despite the surge of COVID-19 cases.
Overall 57 fully vaccinated individuals have died from coronavirus in Georgia, totalling 1% of COVID-19 deaths, while the remaining 99% of people were unvaccinated, Deputy Head of the Georgian National Disease Control Center, Paata Imnadze, announced earlier today.
The Polish government has gifted 468,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine to Georgia which will enter the country by the end of the week.
A total of 117 medical workers and 17 pregnant women have died from Covid-19 in Georgia since the outbreak of the virus in February 2020 as of October 1, 2021, the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says in its recently released report. Between February 2020 and October 1, 2021 healthcare workers accounted for 6.4% of total confirmed cases.
Georgia has reported 5,340 new cases of coronavirus, 3,631 recoveries and 62 deaths in the past 24 hours.
