Georgia reports 1,164 new cases of coronavirus, 2,292 recoveries, 33 deaths

Georgia has reported 1,164 new cases of coronavirus, 2,292 recoveries and 33 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

18,898 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.

22,107  tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 11,626 of the 22,107 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,481 were PCR tests.

The country has had 617,753 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

5.42 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

589,791 of the 617,753 patients have recovered, while 9,038 have died from the virus.

• Adjara - 79 cases 
• Imereti - 229 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 65 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 36 cases 
• Guria - 25 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 125 cases 
• Kakheti - 168 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 23 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 27 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 4 cases

4,102 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 983 of the 4,102 patients are in critical condition. 248 of the 983 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

14,121 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.

15,373 individuals are in self isolation. 

More than nine milion tests have been conducted in the country so far.

1,813,679 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  825,321 have been completely vaccinated.
