Georgian wheelchair fencer Nina Tibilashvili has won silver at the Tokyo Paralympic Games after losing 7:15 in the final to China’s Jing Bian.
Tibilashvili competed in a tense match before the final with the bronze medal-winner of the Rio Paralympics, the nine-time prize-winner of the World Championships, Ukraine’s Eugenia Bruce.
Tibilashvili managed to defeat her opponent with a score of 15 to 12.
The Tokyo Paralympic Games started on August 24 and will end on September 5.
This year’s Georgian delegation involves 14 athletes in six types of sports.
