Georgia has reported 3,803 new cases of coronavirus, 3,332 recoveries and 48 deaths in the past 24 hours.
59,659 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
31,159 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 19,708 of the 31,159 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,451 were PCR tests.
The country has had 514,744 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

448,288 of the 514,744 patients have recovered, while 6,771 have died from the virus.

- Tbilisi - 1,425 cases
- Adjara - 598 cases
- Imereti - 506 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 163 cases
- Shida Kartli - 168 cases
- Guria - 161 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 246 cases
- Kakheti - 327 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 69 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 104 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 36 cases

7,345 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,547 of the 7,238 patients are in critical condition. 336 of the 1,547 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
48,820 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.

57,062 individuals are in self isolation.
More than 7,692,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
962,165 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 286,187 individuals have been completely vaccinated.
Georgian Bishop Saba (Intskirveli), who heads an eparchy in North America, has called on the public to vaccinate because 'the major contribution [one can make] to the fight against Covid-19 is to receive the vaccine.'
Georgia has reported 74 coronavirus deaths in the past 24 hours which is a record high figure since the country confirmed its first case of Covid-19 at the end of February 2020. 6,723 individuals have died from the virus in Georgia so far. The country has reported 4,901 new cases of 46,595 tests and 2,586 recoveries in the past 24 hours. Most of the new cases were reported in the capital Tbilisi, Adjara and Imereti regions.
A field hospital for 500 coronavirus patients in the Didi Digomi district of Tbilisi has received its first nine patients and will work in full capacity starting today, Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia announced.
It has not been laboratory confirmed that an individual in Georgia has contracted Covid-19 three times, Head of Infectious Diseases and AIDS Centre Tengiz Tsertsvadze stated earlier today, following earlier reports to the effect.
Ten per cent of Georgia’s adult population have been fully vaccinated as of August 21.
