Georgia has reported 3,780 new cases of coronavirus earlier today. Currently 38,806 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
41,907 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 25,167 of the 41,907 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,740 were PCR tests.
2,052 individuals have recovered and 30 have died from the virus in the past 24 hours.
The country has had 440,353 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
8.05 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
395,505 of the 440,353 patients have recovered, while 6,016 have died from the virus.

The new 3,780 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,640 cases
- Adjara - 628 cases
- Imereti - 395 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 170 cases
- Shida Kartli - 172 cases
- Guria - 70 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 199 cases
- Kakheti - 299 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 102 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 84 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 21 cases

6,369 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,285 of the 6,369 patients are in critical condition. 273 of the 1,285 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
31,088 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 7,000,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
583,647 individuals have been vaccinated in the country so far.
Georgia has reported 3,670 new cases of coronavirus earlier today. Currently 37,108 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
Belgium will donate doses of AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine to Georgia through the Covax platform (Covid-19 vaccines Global Access Facility) by the end of 2021, the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. First 168,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be sent to Ukraine and afterwards, 225,600 doses of the vaccine will be delivered to Kosovo, Armenia and Georgia, the Belgian ministry announced.
French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas has thanked the Georgian government for including foreigners in the vaccination against coronavirus earlier today. Foreigners living in Georgia are able to receive Covid-19 vaccines in the three largest cities of Georgia. Ambassador Colas noted that ‘the vaccination process in Georgia is being managed effectively.’
The Netherlands will categorise Georgia as a ‘very high-risk area’ on August 8 following a sharp increase in coronavirus cases in the country.
Health authorities have reported 4,216 new confirmed cases in Georgia along with 38 deaths over the past 24 hours.
Georgia has reported 3,344 new Covid-19 cases over the past 24 hours, with 30 deaths and the daily rate of vaccine jabs of 19,355.

Currently 40,233 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.23,439 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 12,524 of the 23,439 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,915 were PCR tests. 3,146 individuals have recovered and 44 have died from the virus in the past 24 hours. The country has had 450,149 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated earlier today that another lockdown in Georgia would be ‘absolutely unjustified’ as the country has imported more than two million doses of coronavirus vaccine. Georgian government head noted that the lockdown won’t defeat the virus and underscored that mostly it is possible through vaccination.
