French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas has thanked the Georgian government for including foreigners in the vaccination against coronavirus earlier today.
Foreigners living in Georgia are able to receive Covid-19 vaccines in the three largest cities of Georgia.
Ambassador Colas noted that ‘the vaccination process in Georgia is being managed effectively.’

I see it as a mark of friendship and efficiency, and a beautiful symbol of the very close proximity that unites French and Georgians,” Ambassador Diego Colas stated.
French Ambassador Colas has checked on the vaccination process of foreign citizens at the Tbilisi Republican Hospital together with Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze today.
Minister Tikaradze once again called on citizens to get vaccinated against Covid-19, and underlined the importance of complying with regulations such as social distancing and wearing masks.
She also said that more citizens are registering for vaccination, and noted that they ‘are adding [vaccination] teams on a daily basis to further increase access to the vaccine.’
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Georgia Anna Chernyshova got vaccinated against coronavirus with the Pfizer vaccine donated by the US government.

Registration for vaccination is available online at booking.moh.gov.ge.
The Tolerance and Diversity Institute (TDI) of Georgia reported yesterday that the ‘immunization is not accessible for all foreign nationals in Georgia,’ noting that vaccines against coronavirus are not accessible for undocumented migrants and for foreign citizens living in Georgia ‘who had to cross the Georgian border during the last three months to ensure their legal stay in the country.’
TDI called on the Georgian government to find a solution for foreigners who face difficulties with getting the coronavirus vaccine and to ensure their immunisation without hindrance.
