Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and discussed regional security issues.
Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Georgia on July 19 to attend the 17th Batumi International Conference - Georgia's European Way.

PM Garibashvili reaffirmed strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and thanked Volodymyr Zelensky for supporting Georgia.
Irakli Garibashvili and Volodymyr Zelensky talked about the common challenge of the two countries–threats posed by Russia and the grave consequences of the occupation and stressed the importance of peaceful conflict resolution policies,” the Georgian government announced.
European Union President Charles Michel, Presidents of Ukraine and Moldova Volodymyr Zelensky and Maia Sandu attended the Batumi international conference yesterday.
The main topic of the event was enhanced cooperation between the three associated partners of the European Union–Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova–which recently launched the format of the associated trio.
Presidents of the associated trio countries signed a joint declaration on European integration to strengthen the Eastern Partnership.
The Batumi International Conference - Georgia's European Way has been held since 2007.
