President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked his Georgian counterpart Salome Zurabishvili for ‘a strong statement of solidarity and support’.
Zelensky has tweeted:

Zelensky made his statement in response to Salome Zurabishvili who has reaffirmed her ‘full support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine’ - a friend and an Association Trio partner of Georgia.

We share a common past with the Ukrainian people and a common path of building a modern state looking toward European integration
Peace and stability is in everyone’s interest. I firmly believe Ukraine will withstand the existing tensions and threats and unwaveringly continue its path", she also said.
Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova - the three members of the European Union's Eastern Partnership (EaP) have established a new format of cooperation - the Associated Trio - aimed to further strengthen cooperation for common European goals and help the signatory countries rapidly integrate into the EU.
The parties will meet at the upcoming EaP summit in Brussels on December 15 to discuss the new agenda for reform, recovery and resilience.
