Georgia reports 773 new cases of coronavirus of 37,923 tests

Georgia has reported 773 new cases of coronavirus, 575 recoveries and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours.
37,923 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 20,636 of the 37,923 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,287 were PCR tests.
The country has had 360,828 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
2.42 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
346,792 of the 360,828 patients have recovered, while 5,211 have died from the virus.
Currently 8,799 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

The new 773 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 469 cases
- Adjara - 24 cases
- Imereti - 69 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 50 cases
- Shida Kartli - 29 cases
- Guria -3 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 50 cases
- Kakheti - 59 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 5 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 11 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti -4 cases

2,633 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 674 of the 2,633 patients are in critical condition. 174 of the 674 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
8,619 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 5,621,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
Municipal buses and Tbilisi Metro will serve passengers from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m starting July 1, reports the press office of Tbilisi City Hall.
Georgia is lifting several coronavirus restrictions following today's meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council, announces the government of Georgia. Starting today, wearing a face mask in outdoor space will no longer be mandatory, while the restriction remains in force in gathering places such as bus stops, public transport and indoor spaces.
Georgia has reported 914 new cases of coronavirus, 635 recoveries and 24 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 27,956 tests have been conducted around the country of which 18,953 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,003 were PCR tests. Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 360,055 cases of coronavirus, 346,217 recoveries and 5,199 deaths.
Two new confirmed cases of the Indian strain of Covid-19 virus have been identified in Georgia, National Centre for Disease Control head Amiran Gamkrelidze said on Saturday.
The Parliament of Georgia has extended the right of the government of Georgia to impose Covid-19 restrictions until January 1, 2022. In total 78 members of the parliament voted in favour and 22 against the extension in the 150-member parliament.
30,469 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,944 of the 30,469 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,525 were PCR tests. The country has had 361,484 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.43 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.347,653 of the 361,484 patients have recovered, while 5,228 have died from the virus.
