Coronavirus: 914 new cases of 27,956 tests in 24 hours

Georgia has reported 914 new cases of coronavirus, 635 recoveries and 24 deaths in the past 24 hours.
In total, 27,956 tests have been conducted around the country of which 18,953 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,003 were PCR tests.
The new cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 524 cases
- Imereti - 87 cases
- Kakheti - 64 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 63 cases
- Shida Kartli - 57 cases
- Adjara - 47 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 42 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 9 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 6 cases
- Guria - 4 cases

Currently 8,613 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which:
- 5,310 patients are undergoing treatment at home
- 2,698 patients - in hospitals
- 605 patients - in the clinical-hotels
In addition, 678 patients are in critical condition of which 174 are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 8,681 individuals are in self-isolation and 32 individuals are under quarantine.

11,059 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 5,205 of the 11,059 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,854 were PCR tests. The country has had 359,141 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.45 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.345,582 of the 359,141 patients have recovered, while 5,175 have died from the virus.
Two new confirmed cases of the Indian strain of Covid-19 virus have been identified in Georgia, National Centre for Disease Control head Amiran Gamkrelidze said on Saturday.
Covid-19 tests carried out in Georgia over the past 24 hours revealed 521 cases of the virus, with 12 deaths and 911 recoveries.

Georgia is lifting several coronavirus restrictions following today's meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council, announces the government of Georgia. Starting today, wearing a face mask in outdoor space will no longer be mandatory, while the restriction remains in force in gathering places such as bus stops, public transport and indoor spaces.
Municipal buses and Tbilisi Metro will serve passengers from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m starting July 1, reports the press office of Tbilisi City Hall.
37,923 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 20,636 of the 37,923 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,287 were PCR tests. 30,469 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,944 of the 30,469 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,525 were PCR tests. The country has had 361,484 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 2.43 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.347,653 of the 361,484 patients have recovered, while 5,228 have died from the virus.
