Georgia has reported 1,337 new cases, 3,498 recoveries and 49 deaths in the past 24 hours.
6,554 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country; 3,064 of the 6,554 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3,490 were PCR tests.

The new 1,337 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 571 cases
- Adjara - 212 cases
- Imereti - 147 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 168 cases
- Shida Kartli - 48 cases
- Guria - 16 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 74 cases
- Kakheti - 41 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 41 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 18 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 1 case
6,912 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,087 of the 6,912 patients are in critical condition. 465 of the 1,087 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
2,886 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 986 individuals are in quarantine and 17,719 are at home.

48,685 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 1,690,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.
Georgian health officials say that the country has ordered 4,000 units of Remdesivir, a US-produced medicine against Ebola which is also used against Covid-19.
The portion is for 660 individuals and will be used for the patients who are in critical condition (the patients who are on artificial ventilation and no more than 12 days are passed from contracting the virus).
Georgia is negotiating with large US biopharmaceutical company Gilead to receive Remdesivir – an experimental medicine that has been used since 2015 against Ebola, which has also been used by Chinese doctors against COVID-19 in some cases.
Georgia has reported a total of 3,907 new cases of coronavirus after conducting 7,843 PCR and 11,064 rapid tests over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 3,780 people have recovered from COVID-19, while other 50 have unfortunately died.
Georgia has reported 4,146 new cases, 2,129 recoveries and 37 deaths in the past 24 hours. 18,854 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country; 11,089 of the 18,854 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,805 were PCR tests. The Georgian healthcare system has capacity for refrigerators required for the Pfizer vaccine for COVID-19 virus, in case the country selects the preparation for purchase, the Head of the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze announced on Wendesday.
Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia has stated earlier today that for the first time in the past several months the country reported less than 3,000 daily infections from more than 17,000 daily tests. Remdesivir, a US-produced medicine against Ebola which is also used against Covid-19, has entered Georgia and will be used in the treatement of Covid-19 patients who are in critical condition from Monday, Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze stated earlier today.
A total of 2,904 new cases of coronavirus have been reported over the last 24 hours in Georgia after conducting 9,318 PCR and 9,506 rapid tests. Meanwhile, 4,316 individuals have recovered, outnumbering new cases, while 53 have died.
