6,554 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country; 3,064 of the 6,554 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3,490 were PCR tests.
Georgia has had 191,063 cases of coronavirus since February.
161,681 of the 191,063 individuals have recovered, while 1,839 others have died.
27,517 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

6,912 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,087 of the 6,912 patients are in critical condition. 465 of the 1,087 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
2,886 Covid-19 patients are in hotels, 986 individuals are in quarantine and 17,719 are at home.

Georgian health officials say that the country has ordered 4,000 units of Remdesivir, a US-produced medicine against Ebola which is also used against Covid-19.
The portion is for 660 individuals and will be used for the patients who are in critical condition (the patients who are on artificial ventilation and no more than 12 days are passed from contracting the virus).
