Treatment of a coronavirus patient in hospital costs on average 2,000 GEL which does not include investments in oxygen stocks and staff training, said Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia.

She noted that 2,000 GEL (about $603/€500) on average is a rough calculation, as sometimes treating a coronavirus patient can cost 10,000 GEL or even 500 GEL, depending on the case.
