Three individuals have been charged with ‘membership in the criminal underworld’, ‘requesting help from the crime bosses’ and illegal purchase and storage of firearms, announced the Georgian Chief Prosecutor’s Office today.
The Prosecutor’s Office reported that one of the detainees, who had a dispute with his business partner, appealed to two members of the criminal underworld to settle the dispute in his favour.
Besides that, the Prosecutor’s Office reported that one of the detainees illegally purchased and stored firearms in his home.
The detainees have been sentenced to three, seven and eight year prison sentences, respectively.
