Ambassadors of the United States, United Kingdom and European Union have been visiting various polling stations across the country, along with other international observers, to monitor the election environment on the ground
The US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan state earlier that 'it’s very important that as the officials begin to count the ballots, supporters of all political parties respect the work of election officials, accept the official results calmly, and show that these elections meet international standards from start to finish'.
British Ambassador Mark Clayton has also expressed his hope that ‘every party will respect the official results’ of today’s parliamentary elections in Georgia.
Good to get the opportunity to compare notes with Central Election Commission @cecgovge chairperson Tamar Zhvania about the process so far.

The European Union had deployed a European diplomatic watch, sending over 70 teams to visit over 1,000 polling stations in Georgia on the election day.
The teams aimed to support the ongoing OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission, which has limited its mission in Georgia as well as coordinate with the US and UK embassies.
Meanwhile, no official data is available from the Central Election Commission so far. However, most exit polls have given a lead to the ruling Georgian Dream party in the proportional part of the elections.
However, Mtavari Arkhi TV commissioned poll predicts a run off in most of the constituencies in the majoritarian part of the elections.
