Rustavi 2 commissioned exit poll: GD 51.36%, UNM 25.38%

Rustavi 2 TV commissioned exit poll results show that as of 8 p.m. the ruling Georgian Dream party received 51.36% of support in the proportional part of the elections, followed by the opposition United National Movement with 25.38%

Below are the results of other political parties: 

  • European Georgia-4,20%
  • Girchi-3,65%
  • Lelo for Georgia-2,94%
  • Strategy Builder-2,47%
  • Alliance of Patriots-2.36%
  • Labour Party-1.23%
  • Citizens-1.11%

The updates of Survation poll show a slight increase in some of the figures of the parties compared to the preliminary exit poll results published by Rustavi 2 TV earlier. 

Meanwhile, Formula TV also provided its updates of Edison Research survey in the proportional part for Tbilisi only. It said GD is leading with 43%, followed by UNM-led Strength in Unity with 23% and Girchi with 8%.

Lelo for Georgia and Strategy Builder come next with 4%; European Georgia and Alliance of Patriots follow with 3%; while Labour Party and Citizens have 2% of support each.

Mtavari Arkhi exit poll, carried out by IPSOS company also says that UNM is leading in Tbilisi with 35%, followed by GD with 30%.

Polling stations closed in Georgia at 8 p.m. with 1,970,540 Georgian voters having cast their ballots in the parliamentary elections.
