Georgia reports 527 new cases of coronavirus, 313 recoveries, 6 deaths

Georgia has reported 527 new cases of coronavirus earlier today, 313 recoveries and six deaths in the past 24 hours.
The majority of the cases were recorded in the Adjara region of Georgia and in the capital Tbilisi.

The new 527 cases were recorded in:
- Adjara region - 190 cases
- Tbilisi - 179 cases
- Imereti - 91 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 28 cases
- Shida Kartli - 10 cases
- Kakheti - 11 cases
- Mtskheta Mtianeti - 3 cases
- Guria - 3 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 1 case
Georgia has had 10,752 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.

5,866 of the 10,752 patients have recovered, while 72 others have died.
As of today 4,814 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
66 of the 4,814 patients are in critical condition.
The village of Erisimedi in Signagi municipality of eastern Georgia has been placed on lockdown as a woman who had returned from Adjara region and was infected with Covid-19 had contact with many inhabitants of the village.
About 320 individuals live in the village and they will be tested for Covid-19.
Germany has declared Georgia, Jordan, Romania and Tunisia as coronavirus risk regions, meaning that the individuals entering from these countries will have to enter quarantine pending a negative coronavirus test, Reuters reports.
Georgia has reported 472 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, breaking a streak in case increases. The majority of the new cases were recorded in the country’s coastal Adjara region and in the capital of Tbilisi. Three patients have died of the coronavirus in the country in the past 24 hours. All the deceased individuals were from the Adjara region. Georgia has had 10,225 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.5,553 of the 10,225 patients have recovered, while 66 have died.
The government of Georgia has decided to support healthcare workers assisting in the fight against coronavirus by increasing their salaries by 50 per cent, announces Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze.
Georgia has reported 508 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 259 of the 508 new cases were recorded in the coastal Adjara region, while 111 were recorded in Tbilisi. Four individuals have died of Covid-19 in the country in the past 24 hours - two in Adjara region, one in Terjola municipality and one in Tbilisi. The patients who have died of the virus were elderly individuals with underlying illness.
Regulations in the Adjara region might be lifted starting next week, said Head of the Adjara region government Tornike Rijvadze earlier today.
Nursing home Savane, have 11 people recovered from the coronavirus, out of which the oldest are an 80-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man.
Tbilisi Central Station shopping centre has closed to be sanitised as there were coronavirus cases reported at the gold market located in the shopping centre.
The majority of the cases were recorded in the country’s coastal Adjara region and in the capital Tbilisi. 179 of 183 kindergartens in Tbilisi which have been closed due to the coronavirus since March 2020 have reopened earlier today. The personnel in the remaining four kindergartens or their relatives have tested positive for the coronavirus that is why the kindergartens remain closed. Georgia has had 12,272 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020. Since then 6,538 patients have recovered, while 91 others have died. As of today 5,643 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
