11 people from Batumi's nursing home Savane recovered from Covid-19, 80-year-old woman is oldest

Nursing home Savane, have 11 people recovered from the coronavirus, out of which the oldest are an 80-year-old woman and a 78-year-old man.

Head of the nursing home, Deacon Ioane Baramidze said that 15 people from the nursing home are under treatment so far.  He noted that three infected people were brought to hospital yesterday.

Three people from the nursing home have died of coronavirus. They had concomitant diseases.

People in Savane are under quarantine.

Moreover, 17 more people from Geriatric shelter have recovered from the virus in the Adjara region.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 250 people have recovered in the Adjara region.

512 people are under treatment in the region, out of which 12 are minors and 21 are pregnant ladies. 39 patients are placed in resuscitation. More than 800 people are being treated at home and they are under the supervision of doctors.

Georgia has reported 527 new cases of coronavirus earlier today of which 190 cases are from the Adjara region.
