Public long-distance transport to be suspended in Adjara starting tomorrow

Public intercity transport will be suspended in the Adjara region starting tomorrow.

The restriction does not apply to taxis which will still be available in the region.

Starting today, municipal transport has also been suspended in the Adjara region.

Georgia has reported 265 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, with the most cases (165) being reported in the Adjara region.

Georgia has had 4,664 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 1,759 of the 4,664 patients have recovered, while 27 others have died. As of today, 2,878 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
