Coronavirus in Georgia: 554 new cases, 252 recoveries, 2 deaths

A total of 554 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Georgia over the last 24 hours. Two more people have died and 252 individuals recovered.
Out of the 554 new cases:
- 65 were reported in Tbilisi
- 370 were reported in Adjara
- 63 were reported in Imereti
- 28 were reported in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
- 11 were reported in Kvemo Kartli
- 6 were reported in Shida Kartli and Guria each
- 4 were reported in Mtskheta-Mtianeti
- 1 was reported in Kakheti
As of now, the number of total confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased to 8,118 in Georgia, including 4,244 recoveries and 50 deaths.
Georgia has reported 471 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,564. Meanwhile, 278 individuals have recovered from.the coronavirus, increasing the total recoveries to 3,992.
Imedi TV journalist Zura Balanchivadze has tested positive for coronavirus. All of his contacts have been informed and they went to self-isolation, Imedi TV announced. The TV company continues to broadcast.

Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia says that the Georgian economy continues to function, as does the education system and 'we have no grounds or desire to restrict these today because of the increased number of coronavirus cases.’
Georgia has reported 549 new cases of the coronavirus, 268 recoveries and four deaths in the past 24 hours. Three of the four new deaths were recorded in Georgia’s coastal Adjara region. All the individuals who have died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours suffered from underlying illnesses. 55 patients are in critical condition around the country. Georgia has had 9,245 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.4,887 of the 9,245 patients have recovered, while 58 others have diedAs of today 4,300 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country.
The gold market at Tbilisi Central Station shopping centre has closed for two weeks as five employees have tested positive for Covid-19.
Seven of 988 people tested for coronavirus at a pop up testing centre at the Tbilisi House of Justice were positive.
