Out of 471 new coronavirus cases 360 reported in Adjara

Georgia has reported 471 new cases of COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 7,564.

Out of the 471 new cases

57 were reported in Tbilisi
360 were reported in Adjara
22 were reported in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
11 were reported in Imereti
6 were reported in Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti each
5 were reported in Guria
3 were reported in Mtskheta-Mtianeti
1 was registered in Samtskhe-Javakheti

With two more fatalities, the number of coronavirus-related deaths has increased to 48.

Meanwhile, 278 individuals have recovered from.the coronavirus, increasing the total recoveries to 3,992.

Georgia has reported a record-high, 448 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. 241 of the 448 new cases were recorded in the country’s western, coastal Adjara region. Georgia has had 6,640 cases of the coronavirus since February 26, 2020.3,419 of the 6,640 patients have recovered, while 39 others have died. As of today 3,182 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in the country. 35 of the 3,182 individuals are in critical condition.

Three individuals have died of the coronavirus in the country in the past day.As of today there are 45 patients in critical condition in the country. Nine of the 45 patients are from the country’s Russian-occupied Abkhazia region.
