Zonal hourly parking, which will be introduced on Pekini Avenue and nearby streets starting September 10, will be free for local residents, people with disabilities and owners of electric vehicles, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze earlier today.
Kaladze urged citizens living on Pekini Avenue and nearby streets to register their cars in the zonal parking system and receive the right to park their cars without charge if they fall into the three categories listed.
For cars registered in other districts of Tbilisi, parking will be free for the first 15 minutes.
Zonal hourly parking is already in force on Kote Abkhazi and Orbeliani streets and neighboring streets in Tbilisi.
