Parking fines in Tbilisi will be suspended due to ongoing updates to the municipal electronic system, designed to allow individuals and companies to use a single account to use several services, Tbilisi City Hall said on Monday.
The city authority said the new digital system would offer parking, taxi, online application portal and other services to users who would need to only use a single account for the purpose.
It also added technical errors had been identified due to the reform, and offered a grace period to users of the metered parking system.
The City Hall is expected to announce the completion of the updates in due time for notifying parking service users about the end of the grace period. The body also asked users to contact its Municipal Services Development Agency hotline number 1399 for technical assistance, if required.
