Georgia reports 3 new cases of coronavirus, two are imported

Georgia has reported three new cases of the coronavirus earlier today. Two of the three new cases are imported (one is a truck driver), while the remaining one patient does not know how he contracted the virus. 

Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 1,182 cases of the coronavirus. 

962 of the 1,182 patients have recovered, while 17 others have died.

As of today 203 people remain infected with COVID-19 in the country. 

Forty-one Georgian citizens, who tested positive for the coronavirus abroad, have been transported to the homeland. 

Thirty-eight of the 41 patients are still undergoing treatment in Georgia (the figure is not included in the 203 active cases and are calculated separately as the individuals tested positive for the coronavirus abroad).

7,066 people are under quarantine in Georgia. Many of them are the inhabitants of Karajalari village of Marneuli municipality which is in lockdown. 

More than 125,000 people have been tested for the coronavirus in Georgia.
