Tbilisi City Hall allocates over $1 mln for reconstruction of metro station

Tbilisi City Hall will allocate slightly more than $1 million to reconstruct metro station Gotsiridze, announced Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze earlier today.

He noted that the construction work will start in the coming days.

The reconstruction includes roofing the subway platform, setting up two elevators and tactile paving.

The station's vestibule, the platform and rooms for employees will be reconstructed.

A new sound system will be installed and the power system of the station will be changed.

The station will be adapted for people with disabilities as well.
