Streets with metro entrances and bus stops will be sanitised in Tbilisi starting tonight, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze earlier today.
After sanitizing the streets, we will start sanitizing specific bus stops and metro entrances,” said Kaladze.
The project is organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Tbilisi City Hall.
Kaladze noted that the sanitising substance does not pose a risk to health.
Tbilisi buses and metros are sanitised every day to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze urged people to stay home, avoid public places and fulfill the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).
He said that in the fight against the new coronavirus “consolidation, self-awareness and support of people” is important.
