Georgia’s Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region has reported 12 new cases of coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases in the region to 57. 31 of the 57 patients have already recovered.
RES media outlet reports that the new patients are students of a Russian military academy.
At this moment 239 individuals have been placed under quarantine for two weeks in Georgia’s Russian occupied Tskhinvali region.
The de facto government of the Russian-occupied Tskhinvali has completely closed its so-called “border” with Russia from May 10 to June 30 to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
