Russian-occupied Tskhinvali reports 9 new COVID-19 cases, 34 recoveries

Georgia’s Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region has reported nine new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of infected individuals in the region to 66, of which 34 have already recovered.

Local media report that among the newly infected individuals is one nurse and eight students of a Russian military academy.

At this moment 237 individuals have been placed under quarantine for two weeks in Georgia’s Russian-occupied Tskhinvali region.
