Three people have tested positive in Georgia over the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of confirmed cases to 808.
The Medical Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia noted that all of these new cases have been “imported”.
Ezugbaia said today two of the three infected individuals are truck drivers, while the other one has been in quarantine.
However, with 13 more recoveries the number of infected individuals has decreased to 132 in the country.
As of now, 663 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Georgia, but 13 individuals, with underlying chronic diseases, have died.
