Georgia reports 14 new cases of coronavirus, total number of cases stands at 511, 156 recovered

Georgia has reported 14 new cases of the coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 511. 

156 of the 511 people have recovered, while six others have died. 

As of today 347 people remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia. 

5,085 people are under quarantine and 558 others in hospitals.

Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze stated yesterday that Georgia is hitting the peak of the spread of the virus and no serious increase in COVID-19 cases is expected in the coming weeks. 

The country lifted several, coronavirus-related restrictions yesterday, including  restrictions on the use of private vehicles.

Cemeteries around the country remain closed to prevent people from gathering there following the Easter holiday.
