Recovered Georgian woman: ‘I am 80 and I defeated coronavirus’

Urushadze said she had been on the hardest path “on the verge of life and death” for ten days and nights.
Thanking doctors for saving her life, Urushadze praised their professionalism.
I want to sincerely thank the Director General of the First Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, professor Levan Ratiani and his amazing team”, she said.
Calling on everyone to stay home, Urushadze said, this would support doctors, who spare no efforts to save the lives of the infected patients.
Georgia has confirmed a total of 394 cases of COVID-19 since February 26, including 86 recoveries and four deaths.
As of now, 302 infected individuals remain in various hospitals throughout the country under medical observation.
The Georgian government brought back 151 citizens from Tel Aviv, Israel last night, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, foreigners who were unable to leave Georgia due to restrictions following the coronavirus outbreak, will not face penalties for overstaying visas up until June 30.
The number of total confirmed cases of coronavirus has increased to 394 in Georgia, including 86 recoveries and four deaths. One of the recovered individuals is a 50-year-old woman, who was transferred from the Russian-occupied Abkhazia region into Tbilisi-controlled territory in late March.
Georgia reported a fourth coronavirus-related death last night. The 70-year-old woman was a native of the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara and had underlying chronic diseases. As of now, the country has a total of 388 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 86 recoveries.
Police have fined 321 people for violating state of emergency regulations and curfew during the last 24 hours in Georgia. 85 individuals were fined for violating the curfew regulations, 96 individuals were fined for violating rules of transportation and driving, and 140 individuals were fined for public gathering and violating 2-meter distance
Seven more individuals have recuperated from coronavirus in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 93. Health officials again call on people to stay home and maintain social distancing. Otherwise, the collapse of the healthcare system will be inevitable in Georgia.
The number of coronavirus cases stands at 399 in Georgia as of April 20. 93 of the 399 individuals have recovered, while four other people have died. As of today 300 people remain infected with COVID-19 in the country.5,094 individuals inside the country are in quarantine, while 547 others are in hospitals.More than 2.4 million people have been infected with the virus worldwide as of April 19. 165,105 people have died of the virus, while close to 630,000 have recovered.
A fifth person has died of COVID-19 in Georgia earlier today. The 68-year-old man from Bolnisi municipality, with several underlying illnesses, was undergoing treatment in the First University Clinic of Tbilisi.
Twelve more individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 168. Georgia has confirmed 511 coronavirus cases since February 26, including six deaths.
Head of the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze said, the 86-year-old Georgian citizen, who suffered from several underlying illnesses, had arrived from one of Georgia’s neighbouring countries.
Galina Zakradze, 102, is one of the 62,061 individuals who have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia. Thanking the health workers of Kutaisi Infectious Disease hospital for their care, Galina Zakradze received a lot of applause while leaving the hospital upon recovery.
