Recovered Georgian woman: ‘I am 80 and I defeated coronavirus’

Giuli Urushadze, 80, is one of the 86 individuals who have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia. 

I am 80 and I defeated coronavirus”, she wrote on Facebook yesterday.

Urushadze said she had been on the hardest path “on the verge of life and death” for ten days and nights. 

Thanking doctors for saving her life, Urushadze praised their professionalism.

I want to sincerely thank the Director General of the First Clinic of Tbilisi State Medical University, professor Levan Ratiani and his amazing team”, she said.

Calling on everyone to stay home, Urushadze said, this would support doctors, who spare no efforts to save the lives of the infected patients.

Georgia has confirmed a total of 394 cases of COVID-19 since February 26, including 86 recoveries and four deaths.

As of now, 302 infected individuals remain in various hospitals throughout the country under medical observation.
