Individuals who violate the state of emergency regulations face a fine of 3,000 GEL, while legal entities have to pay a fine of 15,000 GEL; repeat offence is punishable by three years in prison.

As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 385 cases of COVID-19, including 84 recoveries and three deaths.
The number of total confirmed cases of coronavirus has increased to 385 in Georgia, including 84 recoveries and three deaths. As on now, some other 4,971 individuals remain in quarantine and 519 more are under medical observation at hospitals due to possible contact with the infected individuals.
Georgia continues to evacuate its citizens from WHO-recognised high risk countries. As of April 17 Georgian diplomatic missions and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have helped 7,353 Georgian citizens abroad and brought back 6,435 citizens to their home country from different coronavirus-hit areas since the COVID-19 outbreak began worldwide.
Starting 9 p.m. today the four main cities of Georgia - Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Rustavi - will be placed under lockdown, preventing people from leaving or entering the cities for ten days at least. Coronavirus cases stand at 306 in Georgia as of today. 69 of the 306 people have recovered, while three other patients, elderly people with several underlying illnesses, have died.
A total of 92 Georgian citizens have been infected with coronavirus abroad and nine have died, Deputy Georgian Foreign Ministry Mikheil Ninua reported earlier today. He said, the majority of infected individuals have mild or less severe forms of the virus.
The UN said Easter “is a very special occasion for Georgia, when many families come together and share a heartwarming celebration”, however, “the community spirit at the heart of Easter includes a sense of responsibility to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19”.
Georgia reported a fourth coronavirus-related death last night. The 70-year-old woman was a native of the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara and had underlying chronic diseases. As of now, the country has a total of 388 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 86 recoveries.
The number of total confirmed cases of coronavirus has increased to 394 in Georgia, including 86 recoveries and four deaths. One of the recovered individuals is a 50-year-old woman, who was transferred from the Russian-occupied Abkhazia region into Tbilisi-controlled territory in late March.
Giuli Urushadze, 80, is one of the 86 individuals who have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia. "I am 80 and I defeated coronavirus”, she wrote on Facebook yesterday. Urushadze said She had been on the hardest path “on the verge of life and death” for ten days and nights.
