Georgia reported a fourth coronavirus-related death last night.
The 70-year-old woman was a native of the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara and had underlying chronic diseases.
As of now, the country has confirmed a total of 388 cases of COVID-19, including 86 recoveries.
Georgia confirmed its first coronavirus case on February 26; the first case of mortality was reported on April 4.
Four main cities of Georgia - Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Rustavi - have been placed under lockdown to prevent further spread of the coronavirus.
All private vehicle traffic has also been banned throughout the country until the end of the state of emergency.
Government and health officials again call on citizens to follow the state of emergency regulations, stay home and maintain social distancing to avoid further spread of the virus.
