Twelve more individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 168.
Georgia has confirmed 511 coronavirus cases since February 26, including six deaths. As of now, 336 individuals remain infected with the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, 8,372 individuals have been brought back from different countries amid the coronavirus pandemic; 16,302 Georgian have been provided with accommodation, food and medicines abroad; while eleven citizens died of COVID-19 abroad.
As of April 28, Georgia has evacuate its citizens from Berlin, Vienna, London, Athens, Amsterdam, Larnaca, Beijing, Rome, Paris, Tel Aviv, Barcelona and Warsaw.
The flights are carried out by the national flag carrier Georgian Airways. Citizens returning to Georgia are placed under mandatory 14-day quarantine.
