Police have fined 178 people for violating state of emergency regulations and curfew during the last 24 hours in Georgia.
Individuals who violate the state of emergency regulations face a fine of 3,000 GEL, while legal entities have to pay a fine of 15,000 GEL; repeat offence is punishable by three years in prison.

As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 252 cases of COVID-19, including 63 recoveries and three deaths.
Four administrative units in Kobuleti municipality in the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara, Lentekhi municipality in the western Georgian region of Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, as well as Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities in eastern Georgia have been placed under lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
