Four more individuals have recovered from COVID-19 in Georgia increasing the total number of recoveries to 67 out of the 257 total confirmed cases since February 26.
As of now,185 infected individuals remain in various hospitals in Georgia, three people died, while two foreign citizens returned to their country in March.

Some 4,929 people are under quarantine in the country due to possible contact with the infected individuals, while 405 others remain under medical observation at hospitals.
Three more Georgian citizens infected with COVID-19 have arrived from Armenia and Turkey, while six Georgian citizens died of the virus in different coronavirus-hit areas.
Infected individuals, who were either delivered from abroad or passed away in another country, are counted separately and are not included in the total confirmed cases of Georgia, which now stands at 252.
Police have fined 5 individuals for violating rules of quarantine and self-isolation, 19 individuals for violating rules of transportation and driving, 94 individuals for violating the curfew regulations and 60 individuals for public gathering.
Four administrative units in Kobuleti municipality in the Georgian Black Sea region of Adjara will be placed under “strict quarantine” after several locals tested positive for the coronavirus. The administrative units of Gvara, Mukhaestate, Leghva and Tskavroka will be placed under “strict quarantine” as the infected individuals had contact with a large group of people.
The government of Poland has gifted over 500 liters of disinfectant, 22 units of spraying equipment and three heating devices for field tents to the Emergency Management Service of Georgia to help the country fight against the spread of coronavirus.
The World Bank projects Georgian economic growth to slow sharply this year, coming close to zero percent in 2020 due to the challenging external environment and impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also forecasts Georgian fiscal deficit (a shortfall in a government's income compared with its spending) to be around 5.2 per cent of the gross domestic product (GDP) in 2020.
The Guardian has reported that Georgia has fewer reported cases of the coronavirus than many other foreign states and the country has managed to slow or stop the spread of the virus.
Georgia has reported a total of 272 cases of the new coronavirus as of today, with 68 of these being patients who have recovered and three fatal cases.
