Ruling party head Ivanishvili donates 100 mln GEL to StopCov Fund

The head and founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party, former PM Bidzina Ivanishvili, has transferred 100 million GEL (about 32 million USD) to the StopCov Fund which was created on March 23 in Georgia to cope with challenges sparked by the coronavirus. 

As of today there are 124, 543, 899 GEL (39,104,789 USD) in the fund.

  • Ltd IN-SI - 35,000 GEL
  • LASARE - 30,000 GEL

  • Business Group - 25,000 GEL
  • Prime insurance company - 20,000 GEL
  • Ltd Kakhuri - 20,000 GEL
  • Fabric - 20,000 GEL
  • Georgia Technology Park - 20,000 GEL
  • Polimeri - 20,000 GEL
  • Element Construction - 20,000 GEL
  • Zaza Tchanturia - 18,000 GEL
  • Georgian-American University - 10,000 GEL
  • New Power - 10,000 GEL
  • Vajha Gaprindashvili - 5,000 GEL
  • Unity Group - 5,000 GEL
  • Ltd Kaia - 5,000 GEL
  • Ltd PremiuMep - 5,000 GEL

In addition to the companies, individuals have donated as well, announces the press office of the foundation.

Also, Georgian Dream members will transfer one-third of their salaries to the StopCov Fund.

The Attorney General of Georgia and his deputies also joined in the solidarity campaign, announces the press office of the fund.
