Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani spoke at the South-South Cooperation Conference in Buenos Aires and stated Georgia is ready to cooperate with all countries to share its experience gained throughout the years.
Zalkaliani focused on the significance of partnership adding shared experience represents the key tool for economic transformation.
He said Georgia has been intensively cooperating with developing countries and those with transitional economies, sharing its experience in public governance reform, combat against corruption, state services development, democratic elections and other issues.
Minister Zalkaliani emphasized Georgia’s progress in terms of fulfilling the UN Sustainable Development goal N16 as ‘corruption-free, efficient’ institutions are the key for elimination of poverty which is one of the most important goals of the 2030 agenda.
He focused on successful steps against corruption in public sector and smooth service at Georgia’s public service halls.
He also emphasized the Innovative Service Lab saying it is the generator of ideas helping organizations provide customers with smooth services.
Foreign Minister Zalkaliani also stated that the reliability, security and transparency of Georgia’s Public Registry service is widely known.
He said Georgia is one of the first countries showing progress in terms of block-chain technologies during registration of the real estate and business and added Georgia has also worked out an innovative monitoring and coordination electronic system.
Georgia is ready to cooperate with all stockholders and share all experience to them which was gained through the process of the common goals we were facing together,” Minister Zalkaliani stated.
The UN Conference on South-South Cooperation is underway in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It serves to improve cooperation between developing countries for implementation of the 2030 agenda.
This is the first time of Georgia’s participation in the conference.
Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani is attending the event during his Latin America tour. He has also met with officials from Argentina, Mozambique, Bangladesh and attended the opening ceremony of Paraguay Culture Center in Argentina’s capital.
