Buric, who held her first meeting with Zalkaliani, welcomed Georgia’s forthcoming chairmanship of the CoE Committee of Ministers.
Zalkaliani stated that Georgia’s chairmanship will be focused on strengthening democracy, the rule of law and human rights.
The ongoing creeping occupation on the Georgian territory, the closure of so-called checkpoints, the increasing number of kidnappings of civilians, the deployment of an illegal post on Tbilisi-administered territory were on top of the agenda during Zalkaliani’s meeting with Greminger.
