Minister of Defence of Georgia Levan Izoria and Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Raimundas Karoblis signed a declaration of intent on cooperation in the field of cyber-security today.
The declaration aims to boost cooperation between the two countries in cyber-security.
It is necessary to strengthen our national efforts, deepen our relations with international partners, learn from their experience, and conduct joint trainings in this field”, Izoria stayed.

Georgia wants to reach these goals in close cooperation with the National Cyber Security Centre of Lithuania in order for Georgia’s critical infrastructure to be maximally protected from cyber-attacks”, added Georgian Minister Izoria.
Salome Zurabishvili and Dalia Grybauskaitė visited the National Cyber Security Centre in Vilnius today.
Following the signing ceremony, President Zurabishvili visited the National Museum of Lithuania where the exhibition Declaration of the Council of Lithuanian Freedom Fight Movement of February 16, 1949 and Its Signatories is staged.
