Georgian police seize 10 kg of heroin so far this year

Georgian law enforcers have seized 10 kg of heroin this year, the Georgian Interior Ministry says.

This year ministry employees have also seized:

• 1.2 kg of cocaine.
• 650 pills of subutex and suboxone.
• More than 1,000 pills of ecstasy.
• 100 grams of psychotropic drugs.

The ministry says that 275 individuals have been charged with drug-related crimes starting from 1 January 2019.
