Officers of Samegrelo-ZemoSvaneti Police Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry have arrested one person, identified only as N.Dz., for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs as well as their transportation to Georgia.
The Interior Ministry of Georgia has conducted a large-scale operation and arrested 29 members of an organised group of drug dealers, Deputy Interior Minister VladimerBortsvadze said at today’s briefing.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained seven individuals for online drug trafficking, four are a family of a mother, father and two children.
Georgian law enforcers have detained three people and prevented a drug deal taking place. A Russian citizen was arrested for illegal purchase and distribution of drugs.
Officers of the Adjara Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry have arrested a Turkish citizen, born in 1970, identified only as I.Ch. for illegal purchase of drugs in especially large quantities.
Georgian police have seized a methadone substance in especially large quantities in the Georgian region of Samegrelo today. The operation ended up with the arrest of one individual identified only as T.M. born in 1976. The detainee faces from eight to twenty years or life in jail.
