Police arrest one and seize 200 pills of Suboxone in Adjara

Officers of the Adjara Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry have arrested a Turkish citizen, born in 1970, identified only as I.Ch. for illegal purchase of drugs in especially large quantities.

The law enforcers have seized 200 pills of Suboxone after search operations.

The detainee faces from eight to 20 years or life sentence.

Investigation is in progress.

Earlier, on May 14, police arrested three for the drug offense.

Georgian law enforcers have officially accused 60 drug dealers from January to May.
