Georgian rescuers have saved one Chinese citizen in Georgia’s mountainous region of Stepantsminda, Kuro peak, announced Emergency Management Service of Georgia.
A team of six rescuers from Kazbegi (mountainous area of Georgia) and special team with eight rescuers from Tbilisi took part in the rescue operation of 30-year-old injured tourist.
Employees of the Emergency Management Service managed to find the tourist on 2,500 meters above sea level despite the difficult meteorological conditions.
The tourist was taken to a safe place, he received appropriate medical assistance, says the official statement of the Emergency Management Service.
The tourist’s life is not in danger.
