NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai has joined in a campaign promoting Georgia as tourism destination.
Many, many years ago I made my first trip to Georgia. What I discovered was incredible scenery, wonderful people, probably among the best food I’ve ever tried and hospitality that is the best in the world”, Appathurai said.
People in Georgia are fantastic. The country has everything from mountains to lakes, long history, fantastic wine,” he added.

Frederic Beigbeder, prominent French writer, literary critic and TV presenter, was one of the first to join the new autumn campaign.
‘One Blood: Georgia’, a short video produced by the Georgian National Tourism Administration and GLP Films, has been nominated for Best Adventure Film of 2019 among 750 films in the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) in Gothenburg, Sweden.
“We must always keep moving forward to reach our goals, whether crossing the Atsunta Pass to reach Shatili, or to keep our democracies strong and vibrant!” the United States Embassy to Georgia wrote in a Facebook post.

A new social media campaign #SpendYourAutumnInGeorgia officially kicks off today. “Spend 4 Seasons in Georgia is happy to introduce its autumn logo! Let's spend this colorful Autumn in the homeland of wine”, the organisers announced on the official Facebook page.
CNN International is inviting its viewers to “explore Georgia, a country of rich history and trendy urban spaces” this Saturday. In its promo on Georgia, CNN also offers its viewers to glide across the sky for a spectacular view, to taste a fusion of flavours in unique cuisine, to enjoy the beauty of its oldest tradition of wine making.
Advertisements of the potential of Georgian economy can now be seen on US leading television channels like Fox and CNBC covering an audience of more than 40 million until the end of November.
