CNN has published an article in which American freelance journalist based in Tbilisi Will Cathcart addresses travellers, wine drinkers, hikers and beachgoers to visit Georgia as “the country of Georgia needs you”.
CNN has published an article about life along the occupation line that divides the breakaway Tskhinvali region, also knowns as South Ossetia, from the rest of Georgia. The article tells stories of several Georgian citizens who were affected by barbed-wire fences.
Advertisements of the potential of Georgian economy can now be seen on US leading television channels like Fox and CNBC covering an audience of more than 40 million until the end of November.
A new website, www.letsgogeorgia.com, has been launched in Japan on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day, May 26, in order to promote Georgian culture and tourism in the country. The website includes information about Georgian culture, history, tourism potential, Georgian wine and cuisine.
