CNN unveils web page advertising tourism potential of Georgia

American media outlet CNN has created a webpage on its site titled Discover Georgia, which offers visitors a wide array of information about Georgia’s long history, exquisite nature and unique cuisine.
The web page is a part of the Georgian National Tourism Administration’s fall-winter advertising campaign.
In addition to the page, CNN is broadcasting videos about Georgia's tourism and travel opportunities and publishing text articles about the country.

The advertising campaign on CNN will continue until the end of the year and will include the end of the summer season, autumn and winter.
Internationally renown photographer Nigel Barker visited the Georgian capital of Tbilisi to take pictures for Mimeo Photos, a free app for macOS. He wrote on his Instagram and Facebook pages on July 31 that he would be going live "from this ancient city in Georgia doing a photo walk that you can join me on via Mimeo Photos IG Stories, as I discover a city I’ve never been to before".
Greece’s Alpha TV channel has broadcast a video clip about tourism in Georgia. The video clip was made in collaboration between the TV channel and the Georgian Embassy to Greece. The video piece, which aimed to increase Georgia’s popularity amongst tourists in the country was shown as part of the TV programme Alpha Pantou.
Georgian winter wonderlands are being transformed into a hot summer destination, inviting the visitors to cool summer days in fresh air and green environment.
CNN has published an article in which American freelance journalist based in Tbilisi Will Cathcart addresses travellers, wine drinkers, hikers and beachgoers to visit Georgia as “the country of Georgia needs you”.
‘One Blood: Georgia’, a short video produced by the Georgian National Tourism Administration and GLP Films, has been nominated for Best Adventure Film of 2019 among 750 films in the Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS) in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Advertisements of the potential of Georgian economy can now be seen on US leading television channels like Fox and CNBC covering an audience of more than 40 million until the end of November.
