CNN Style on Tbilisi: The Hollywood, hipster hotspot

Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi is among seven design-savvy cities to watch in 2018.

CNN Style published a list of seven cities to identify the right markets when investing in property.

Why Tbilisi? CNN Style writes: "Something has happened in Georgia's capital over the last 18 months, earning it the title of the "Lisbon of 2018." An almost overnight must-see destination, the city increasingly becoming one of the world's most coveted hubs for fashion, arts and creativity has a newly elected city mayor -- former footballer Kakha Kaladze -- and will have a budget of $334 million [this] year to focus on transport and infrastructure”.

CNN Style said Tbilisi is best for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, techno music and wine.

On the list of seven design-savvy cities, Toronto (Canada), Muscat (Oman), Dundee (Scotland), Paris (France), Tokyo (Japan) and San Miguel de Allende (Mexico) were also mentioned.
