Lifeguards have saved a 29-year-old local man from drowning in Makhinjauri, in the Georgian region of Adjara today.
The Emergency Management Service reports the man was swimming in the sea during a magnitude 3 storm when a passer-by saw him and called for lifeguards.
A drone and rescue craft were deployed to save the man.

The Emergency Management Service of the Georgian Interior Ministry introduced the use of drones this year at the beginning of the summer season.
A magnitude 3-4 storm continues along the coastal regions of Georgia, and red flags have been put out on the beach to warn swimmers that conditions are dangerous.
