Georgian coastal regions hit by storm, swimmers warned not to bathe

A 3-4 magnitude storm has hit the coastal regions of Georgia, and red flags have been put out on the beach to warn swimmers that conditions are dangerous. 

Rescuers worked all night long as heavy rain flooded the first floor of residential buildings along the Black Sea coastal regions in Georgia.

Roads were flooded in Batumi, Adjara, as the population called for rescuers 45 times in total last night.

The Emergency Management Service of the Georgian Interior Ministry calls on holiday-makers not to bathe when red flags are put out on the beach. 

The Emergency Management Service reports that when white flags are displayed on the beach people will be allowed to go back into the sea.
