The Georgian Interior Ministry has detained two Iranian and an Azerbaijani citizen for the purchase and possession of about two kg of heroin in the eastern Georgian region of Kvemo Kartli.
The Iranian individuals, identified only as O.R. and Sh.B., were found to be in possession of over half kg of heroin each.
The Azerbaijani individual, identified only as R.N. was found to be in possession of over 0.7 kg of heroin.
The video shows how police officers detained individuals for purchase and possession of an especially large quantity of drugs.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
